Fairytale Wedding at Springfield Manor

Wedding and Bridals

June 22, 2026

On June 6, 2026, I had the incredible honor of photographing Janice and Jon’s wedding day at Springfield Manor. My connection with Janice goes back many years—she was the sorority big of my little sister, and during their college years, I had the privilege of taking her senior portraits. I still remember spending a magical evening chasing golden hour light together, creating some of my favorite images from that season of life. Janice was a natural in front of the camera, and after that session, she often talked about how she hoped I would photograph her wedding one day. So when Jon proposed and she reached out to ask if I would capture their special day, I was truly honored to say yes.

If I could describe their wedding in one word, it would be joyful. From the moment I arrived, the entire wedding party brought an energy that was contagious. Everyone was eager, kind, and ready to celebrate. The groomsmen posed like seasoned professionals, following directions with ease and making every portrait session fun and effortless. Laughter came naturally throughout the day, and every moment felt filled with genuine excitement for Janice and Jon. It was clear that they had surrounded themselves with people who deeply love and support them.

One of my favorite moments of the day was slipping away with the newlyweds after their first look and heading into the beautiful lavender fields at Springfield Manor. There, away from the excitement of the celebration, I was able to capture quiet moments that reflected the love, joy, and deep friendship they share. The rest of the evening unfolded into a wonderful celebration, bringing together family and friends from both sides to honor two people who are so deeply cherished. Janice and Jon, I hope this wedding day is only the beginning of a lifetime filled with happiness, and that in every season ahead, you continue to lean on the incredible community that surrounds you. It was such a privilege to be part of your day, and I hope these photographs preserve even a small piece of the joy and love that filled every moment.
