Double Blessings

Watching families grow is magical. You always seem to forget how small they start when they first are born. Helpless and dependent on you for their every need. You hold them in your arms and marvel at the miracle God has blessed you with. Their tiny fingers curl around yours and all it takes to calm them down is milk and snuggles.

These precious babies quickly develop personalities of their own. This is amplified when you have twins growing side by side. I loved interacting with Caleb and Leah during their newborn photoshoot. Both small and precious with big personalities. Caleb calm and content and Leah active and engaging. I had moments of déjà vu from Lily’s newborn session in the exact same spot with the same basket. Now seeing her as an independent loving toddler adoring her little siblings brought a huge smile to my face. She ran back and forth from watching Bluey to wanting to take pictures with her brother and sister.

Emily and Nathan, thank you for allowing me the honor of capturing your little ones photos. I have loved watching your family grow. You are both amazing parents. I am impressed at your ability to juggle two little ones and an active toddler. I pray that God gives you strength and energy to enjoy this time with your littles. You are all such a blessing!
