Soaring into Summer with an Engagement Session

Engagement

Todays world glorifies productivity. Multitasking is a skill to be honed. Efficiency is a requirement. And while these characteristics can be great, I have found that true joy comes with slowing down and focusing on one thing at a time. Living in the moment. There are dozens of songs written about just that. Stopping to appreciate the magnificence of God’s creation, the innocence of children’s laughter and the tenderness of a hug or a kiss from a loved one.

Mark and Mary Catherine, right now life and your careers require so much of your time with your medical training. Sometimes date nights consist of a late night pizza at the hospital’s lobby cafe (although from personal experience they are delicious!). I had so much fun slowing down the pace at Two Rivers. Coaching you into a slow walk amongst the trees, wildlife and along the river. We even got to see a powered parachute flying in the sky with the setting sun.

I am so grateful to be able to add these sweet pictures capturing your engagement to your memories at Two Rivers. I hope that as the two of you move forward together in life, whether near or far, you will always find small ways to live in the moment and soak in each other.
