Thanksgiving Family Gathering

I love the holidays. From Thanksgiving through New Years with Christmas being the pinnacle of my favorite time of year. I look forward to the rich traditions, the decorations and the music. This time of year symbolizes family and reflection on Jesus’s birth. It is often a time where families try to get together and create lasting memories. As families grow, we find great joy in watching our kids play and begin lifelong friendships.

The crisp fall air was chilly as the sun began setting over the trees. The boys shouted with excitement as deer crossed our path on the way to our session location. The trees were filled with color covering the hillside and the river nearby glinted in the remaining sunlight. Getting 4 young kids to all smile at the camera at the same time is quite the feat which may or may not have been accomplished with gummy worms, jumping and lots of adult enthusiasm. These siblings and cousins already have such a special bond that will be amazing to watch as they grow up together.

Thank you guys for asking me to capture this season for you. While it is filled with long days, strong wills and developing personalities, I hope you can pause long enough to soak in the smiles and laugher. I pray that the memories made this Thanksgiving and Christmas season will last a lifetime.
