Spring Engagement Session at the Old Mill

Engagement

May 26, 2023

The sun peaked through a thin veil of clouds. The flowers bloomed brightly and the water trickled down the stream into the pond. It was the perfect setting for engagement pictures. Emily and Logan were glowing in the evening sun and their loving smiles matched its beauty. But what I loved most about the session was the joy and playfulness that they had as we waltzed around the mill. From climbing the stairs to the old mill and peeking out the windows at each other to twirling and rocking with gusto the smiles on their faces say it all.

Logan, I love that you brought your own touch to your engagement photos, and sorry Emily, but I have to give a shout out to the Hydro flask that has been with you guys every step of the way. They shared with me that he snuck into their proposal pictures, so they decided to bring him along to the engagement pictures as well. Time will tell if he can make it into the wedding photos. 🙂

Emily and Logan, thank you for asking me to take your engagement pictures. I had such a wonderful time talking with you guys and taking pictures to capture this amazing time of joy, excitement and anticipation. I know you guys have been through long distance, deployments and residency hours but through it all you have made time to pour into each others lives and invest in the things they deem important. I can’t wait to see you join your lives together and start this next stage in life as a married couple.
